The Bliss of the Breath

Friday, April 9th, 2010

Namaste,

There is such joy that flows between you and your Beloved.
When you do not believe in yourself, this joyous flow begins to stop.
It is when you are wide open that you receive so much.
Take a few moments simply to watch your breath.
Feel your breath, and then feel the breath cover you like a warm blanket.

The breath teaches you to follow the Universal Mother into the heavens.
Just ask to see Her leap joyfully.
Ask to see Her dance and sing.
She will teach you to love, from love into knowledge, and from knowledge to wisdom.
From this space of wisdom, ask Her to teach you how to live.
This is the sweetest state of all.
In this state of bliss you will learn how to live.
Others will see you and learn as well.
It is truth.
And the greatest truth is that God loves you.
You only have to ask to feel this love.
It is always there.

I love you,
Love,

Gratitude for the Breath

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

Namaste,

This night as you lay yourself down to sleep, think of your day.
Think of the many blessings you have received this day.
And with all your heart give thanks for your breath.
The breath that keeps you alive and vibrant.
The breath that leads you to your Beloved.
The breath that knows the next step.
The breath that knows.
The breath that contains wisdom.

For when you stop the words with your heart’s love and the wind blows through you, give thanks.
Think by choice this moment.
Breathe by choice.
Love by choice.

I love you all so very much.
Love,
Ma Jaya

The Purpose of Physical Existence

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Namaste,

This blog of full prasad has gotten deeper, and you have the choice to let the heart open and the higher mind absorb.

Here is the first question of our new study and Darshan Line.

The first question is from Agni Ma:

Namaste Ma,

Will you please teach what the purpose of physical existence is, and what it means that the mind of the yogi is always having to achieve that purpose?

All my love, Your Agni Ma

Answer :

The purpose of physical existence is simply so the body can learn more on a higher realm each lifetime until one catches up to himself or herself and is ready to teach and share with others.

There is so much to go through and to accomplish before one is ready to be at this level.

All ego must be let go, even for a few moments.

Physical existence is the soul’s guide to learn and to teach more than ever before, making the one answering and the one asking find a soft way of learning and then trying.

One is always trying, always moving on with an open mind.

As the years go and the years come, you can find in yourself a great wisdom that you can latch onto.

You have no idea how excited I am to be able to gently push you toward your own heart’s soul.

Each moment is the beginning of a new journey.

If the mind does not always have to achieve, then it fails to grasp the newness of time as it passes our hearts.

When I say that the mind of the yogi always has to achieve the purpose of understanding, know that no time is wasted in the universe; there is always time to learn and understand.

The answers all build up into a book and statements that not only help you but help others to achieve the highest possible path of understanding.

You will find that you become more interested in your life and the lives of others.

Thus you begin to lead a different kind of life, a life of curiosity and joy.

I have chosen to always be honest with you all.

Yet the answer is deep inside of you.

After you send in to Ma any questions which are not personal, write in your journal your own answer and see how close or far you are away from the Mother’s answer.

Many times there will be more than one answer.

As soon as you begin to get the first answer, I will continue to move on with the next answer until you get it and are able to live it.

Your Ma is not saying that all the answers have to be 100% right, but I do say that they will be fuel to burn in the fire of learning and achieving.

Remember that this is the beginning of a whole new, yet ancient, practice.

You ask, and the Mother will answer as best as She can.

Soon you will find your own students asking you questions and you can refer to these answers in years to come.

These teachings are both ancient and new, and we are all learning.

I love you with all my heart, and I am just as excited as you are.

Remember to keep the questions simple and non-personal.

I am watching as you grow into the beauty of yourself.

Love,

Ma Jaya

Blessings of Community

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Namaste,

How blessed are we who live in community.
We are at each others side through thick and thin.
Prayers are heard and answered simply by asking.
We have gratitude not only for the food we commonly share, but for the dear, loved faces we see every day of our lives.

When the pale stars ride the early night time sky, I think of all of you.
I treasure these moments and the sweet sense of Home, our sacred Kashi.
I treasure the children, who grow into young men and women as the light in each house grows brighter.
And from the windows out upon the night, we all wait for each of our children to come in and tell us of their day.
And if they step out in the darkness, we are there to step with them to ease the tensions of the young and the old.
So blessed are we, who have within our Ashram the touch of the Mother and the blessings of the Father.
The Mother keeps love alive and all the candles lit.
And She loves to do it, and will continue to do it every single day.

If an unkind touch reaches out to someone, we know of the Mother’s protection – and we all feel safe.
She seeks not revenge, but safety for her child; and you all are Her children, no matter how old you are.
True love can never be blind, and it can bring an added light to your life and loving wisdom to all your hearts.

Baba gave your Ma this Blessing.
Blessings on top of Blessings, and I am so grateful.

I love you all.
Love,

Ma Jaya

Questions for Baba

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Namaste,

I have known the silence and loudness of life.
I have known the sadness and happiness of life.
I have known the silence of the woods before the winds of spring begin.

And within the depths of my mind, I wonder: of what use are words?
Do they not hurt us?
Do they not pull us from the moment of love and bring us into
yesterday’s pain or tomorrow’s fear?

I ask my Baba, “Why do I write these words, trying to touch so many to
help heal their wounds and fix their hearts?”
He smiles and says as clear as day, “THIS IS YOUR PURPOSE, YOUR REASON FOR
FLESH, IS IT NOT?

I smile and say, “Of course, my Beloved.”

I remember asking the same question before.
Why do I forget the answer I ask of my Beloved Guruji?

He smiles again and says,” What if you remembered everything you have
ever said? Where will the fresh flowers or the new answers go?”

“Are not the answers always the same?” I ask.

“Each moment is different, through lifetime after lifetime. There is so
much to ask about, to live and to learn; and so your children grow, and the answers grow along
with the questions.
You are too full of wisdom for the heart to have the tongue to utter the
knowledge all at once.

“There is a great range of answers you have, Ma, always ready for the
great range of questions they will ask you as the centuries go on. Then it
all becomes very exciting and real as you teach them to teach.”

I bowed before my Guru Baba, and wondered how many more questions I will
have for my Beloved.

He turned and looked toward me and answered my unasked question- and I
smiled at us both.

I love you all.

Love,
Ma Jaya
