The Flow of Life

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Namaste,

When you are attached to something that you seem to want so badly and you finally get it, you realize that you never wanted it at all.
This is because everything changes with the flow of life.
If you can become calm and embrace your own flow of life, you will realize that when you appreciate what you have, you will call forth that which you desire.
This is the beauty of the mystical journey we are all on.

There is a secret harvesting going on all the time by the Universal Mother, who wants you to have all that there is.
You only have to breathe and notice that you are breathing.
Focus on your breath enough; then you begin to realize that the breath by itself is the great gift of the Mother.
Without attachment you become more and more who you truly are.
In every being there is a glimpse of who you are.
Thus you never are a stranger in life to yourself.
You begin to know that you are never alone, and everyone who walks with you throughout life has always been and always will be there.

When you find yourself in love with your Beloved, some divine magnet draws you together.
This magnetic pull brings you closer to the true heart of life as you become one with the flames of love.
How wonderful it is to know that you are in love with the Mother!
It is like the first stirring of spring in your spiritual heart, although it can be in any climate.
The heart becomes alive with the wisdom of the Mother.
The Soul is not hidden from you anymore.
The Mother has set it free.
The Soul is always entwined with your Beloved.
You only have to awaken your awareness to unconditional love that asks for nothing and gives everything.

Heart Love

Saturday, June 12th, 2010

Namaste,

There is one thing in the world you must never forget, and that one thing is heart love.
The heart cannot beat without love this is stamped with fire.
If you forget this, you forget life.
If you forget this, you forget death.
Each one of us remembers in different ways.
This does not matter as long as you remember.
Heart love, unconditional love –they are the same thing.
When life is over in this particular body, that which is stamped into the Soul in letters of fire is heart love.
You cannot lose it.
Life to death and death to life, the fires of the heart always show you the way home.
It has nothing to do with yesterday or tomorrow; it is all in the pulsation of now.
This love is almost invisible; it is the stamp of a great artist that never does the same art twice.

In satsang, one is able to see love more clearly.
Satsang uses a spiritual spot light that lights up the good between gurubais and the world.
An internal spot light that comes straight from the Divine.
You seem to know what to do as this spot light shines on you.
You read between the lines and catch the meaning coming from the Beloved on how to live with a whisper and the strength of a storm.

I love you.
Love,

Trust in Your Beloved

Monday, January 18th, 2010

Namaste,

This journey has been exceptional, and there is so much more to come.
Trust in your Beloved is trust in yourself; and if you do not trust yourself, you will find yourself running away from the growth that your Beloved wants so much for you.

Each person experiences something different from his or her Beloved.

You all receive a different energy, yet you all receive a deep and unconditional love that flows through you.
Where does trust of the Beloved begin?
Trust begins with a little trust that grows and grows.
This trust can grow by practicing what is given to you.

Begin by placing your trust in your Beloved.
You grow in meditation.
Your love begins to expand to having love for all beings.

There are three kinds of seekers: those who are asleep and want to be asleep; those who are serving; and those who are awake and want to be even more awake.
Your Beloved will do anything to take you deeper into yourself.

I will share with you all that my Guru, Neem Karoli Baba, shared with His Ma.
I never thought that this could be possible, yet this is happening even as I write these words.
Did you ever realize that you already know all these words?
I just have to remind you to listen to your own heart.
We will persevere on this journey of ours.
The heart knows the road, and the Soul is already there.
When you sit and feel the Formless, you catch a glimpse of what you have and will be able to give to others.

The stars in this early dawn twinkle merrily.
Bubbles of joy that burst into bliss can be felt in this early morn.
This is a path of bliss.
This is the path of light.
This is the path of peace.
This is the path of love.
This is also the path of pure Shakti, the path of success.

This is the path to God the father and God the Mother.
For this path that we journey together is also the path of self realization.
And so the flowers smile this early dawn, and the birds get ready to sing.
I throw you all into the lake of Baba’s heart, giving rise to ever-growing circles of love.

Our hearts burst into blissful waves of beauty that break into the Ocean of Light that you are all blessed with.
I intend to tell your hearts of this love, and you yourself shall hand it down to the next generation.

I am one excited Mother, ready to serve my children.
Love,
Ma Jaya

The Rhythm of your Beloved

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

Namaste,

As you watch your breath this day, feel your whole body energizing.
You are being taken into the rhythm of your Beloved.
When you close your eyes, you can see the energy flowing inside you and all around you.
I want you all to prepare yourselves by noticing how aware you can become if you put your mind to it.
This is the higher mind.
This is the mind of the yogi – the Tantric yogi and yogini.

Rhythms appear and never disappear; you are being aligned with nature, simplicity and love.
Look toward the Universal Mother as Shakti and light.
This Light is going on and on; this is a very potent concept.
You do not go into your mind; you simply are, simply in the moment.
Begin to know and to truly understand who you are.

You are God and Goddess, and you must begin to understand this.
You are part of a greater picture, and you inherit all the goodness.
You internalize the beauty of you.
You are part of all energy; you just know this.
You have the energy that has come to you for thousands of years.
You become a more powerful being, a being of goodness.
Be open, and feel the energy of light that is yours – and I will teach you how to make this Shakti available to you.
You have to be able to feel the Mother’s excitement for all of you.
No one is left out.
This love embraces and protects you all.
This is the Force of God and Goddess.
Say over and over, “I am the Mother.”

Notice that you can become anything that you want to be.
The Universal Mother will help you.
You can begin to understand who you are this moment, in this moment.
It always is and always will be.
This is the miracle of unconditional love, and you all have it.
We all have within us an unlimited power, Shakti, and love – love is the greatest of all.
You are locked into the unlimited power and the pure energy of unconditional love.

There are those two words: Unconditional Love.
You were born to understand these words and to use these words and to feel the power within.

Feel this love.
Do not be afraid to feel.
Love,

The Lightning Bolt of Love

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

Namaste,

Do not fear unconditional love.
There is an utter simplicity to it.
Thinking of a lightning bolt is a good way to describe the way your Beloved loves you: strong, straight and full of light.

That lightning bolt never stops racing through you; it opens you and brings you courage that you never knew you had.
But when you are tense, you cannot let the fullness of the lightning bolt touch you; it bounces off.
When you can relax, you can spread the light of your Beloved all throughout your being, your body and the place where you live.
The Light just simply spreads while it warms and relaxes you.

Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.
This is all I have: Gratitude and love, love and gratitude.

I love you all.
Love,
Ma Jaya

The Art of Forgiveness

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Namaste,

As you cultivate a beautiful state of being in your heart, you are able to draw upon it in any situation.
When you learn to meditate even a little, you are learning more and more about yourself.
You are learning to love both yourself and others unconditionally.
In meditation you are learning to leave your analytical mind, thus leaving the false created self, also known as the ego, behind.
To send your loving prayers to another is also a practice.
You learn that you are blessed and could bless others.

This may come fast or it may take a lifetime.
Let your eyes shine so everyone can see.
If one person gains insight to the heart, then the whole world becomes aware of the heart a little more.
Forgiveness allows us to release the past and go on in life.
The ancient teaching in all of our lives is that hatred never ceases by hatred, but by love alone is healed.
This comes from the time of the Buddha
This mantra helps you open and let go of the past without carrying the hatred of the past.
Forgiveness is a process – a very long process.
It is work of the heart.
When we think of forgiveness, we have to make a decision to let go.
Forgiveness simply means we do not carry the hate of the past or the poison of hate within us.

Sometimes this feels false, and this is ok.
Perhaps underneath many layers of fear there is a place that longs to love.
When you begin to love others, you can see the life return to them almost right away.
These are the basic steps that come when you start to do this inner work.
Your intention also has a healing power.
Just thinking of helping others begins the healing process.
Who we truly are affects the world more than anything else.

Ask the Universal Mother for forgiveness for hurting yourself or anyone else.
Remember the sorrows you caused yourself and let it go on the wings of the breath.
Offer yourself forgiveness and hold yourself in the arms of the Mother as you ask for forgiveness.
Over and over say to yourself, “I forgive myself, I forgive myself.”
As you ask for forgiveness of others, you forgive yourself.

Focus on your breath with awareness.

Breathe deeply, and feel the beauty of forgiveness.
Just sit quietly with the intention of forgiveness, watching the breath in and out.
Let yourself feel the breath in the center of the heart.
Feel the heart softening with the awareness of the breath.
Ask of the Universe, “May I be filled with love and forgiveness”— then feel your whole body hold the love and give the love.
Let the thoughts come and go, blessing each thought as you are filled with forgiveness for others and yourself.
Let the breath become calm as you have more awareness.
Let the feelings of forgiveness stay with you all day, until you feel to meditate again.

I wish you all well being of body soul and mind.
May you feel peace and happiness due to this meditation.
Forgiveness frees you of poison and replaces it with self-worth and joy.
As you strip yourself of the poison you have carried around with you for so long, you can feel that you are being held by the Universal Mother’s loving kindness.
Feel the freedom and the joy.
Keep breathing with awareness, as you live your life with compassion for all things and for yourself.
Let your eyes open gently and feel the spirit of kindness stay with you always.

In the Tao it is said, “I have three things to teach: simplicity, patience, and compassion.”
By saying these words over and over in your life, you will feel your birthright and your joy as well as your blessings.

I love you all.

Love,
Ma Jaya

The Desire to be Right

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

Namaste,

When you can give unconditional love, you will find yourself feeling full instead of empty.
In relationships of any kind, one must stifle the desire to be right.
Practice this, and you will find love instead of anger.
Allow space in your togetherness.
This can be between lovers, friends, students, married, or single – in other words, anytime there are two or more instead of one.
The more space you have in a relationship the more the relationship will flourish.
Always remember that you are not the boss of any relationship.
Your friendship comes about giving, not demanding.

You do not have to understand why some else wants to do whatever they want to do.
To have a higher state of consciousness between you and those you love deeply will be viewed eventually as real magic of spirituality.
You can create wonderful relationships by offering only love in your life together.
Do not be filled with doubt about yourself and others, most of this is none of your business.
Those of you who must be right cannot find true happiness.
Individuals will enter and exit your life many times over.

Do not constantly wonder about why they did what they did.
You do not have to have an extreme happiness with everyone you meet.
Visualize yourself sending out love to all whom you meet.
The only limitations you have are those that you put on yourself.
Stop forcing yourself to try to make others think as you think.
Give your friends the great love that is in the center of your being; when you are about to be seduced by the ego to strike out, purposely pay no attention to the thoughts your ego sends you.
Take time to say to yourself, “It is just a thought, it is just a thought.”
Start this moment being the one who cannot be abused by words.

Know this, and let go of conflicts in any of your relationships.
Use the power of your heart not to demand any outcome in a discussion.
Stop pursuing what you do not want.
Keep your mouth quiet before reacting.
Reach out with love.
Expect nothing and give everything.
The ego sends you expectations of how others should be.
It is truly none of your business how one acts; your business is how you react toward others.
Stop focusing on what you want others to feel or do.
Focus on your elf and the beauty that you feel when you give love.

When I would come to Big Henry under the boardwalk where I grew up, crying that someone hurt me bad or made fun of me, he would smile and say, “Girl child, did God tell you these things?”
I would smile and say, “No, Big Henry.”
Then he said, “For God’s sake, stop complaining and just move on!”
He made me laugh, and at times he made me cry.
And when I would tell him this he would say to me, “Girl child, nothing or nobody can make you do anything! No one owns your soul; your soul belongs to you and to God.”
Growing up being the only white child with so many homeless and beautiful African Americans, I learnt more before I was nine than I did my whole life.
No matter how much I have served my whole life, I could never give as much as they gave that little girl whom they called ‘girl child.’
And so I learnt how to be with people who thought differently from me and to appreciate everything they had to give or teach me.
They sacrificed their lives for the little white girl in their care.

So start feeling full by giving fullness to others, and get rid of the desire to be right.
This only brings pain to yourself and to others, for if you are always right, then others are always wrong.
As Big Henry would say, “And that ain’t right, just ain’t right.”
You know when I write about those days under the boardwalk during and after World War II, the words just flow from me as if I am not writing at all.
Every word means so much to me sixty-two years later.
Nothing is ever wasted.
Everything is a teaching, only if we can truly listen, without having to agree or not agree.
I love you all so very much.

Love,
Ma Jaya
