The Ego-Mind

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

Namaste,

The ego is like a separate entity over which the mystic can gain mastery.
But the ego does not like to give up its ability to rule us fully.
It does not like to give up its freedom by losing a great influence over us.
You need to learn to separate the heart-mind from the ego-mind.
You do this by turning your attention to both your Beloved and the Mother of intuition.
In this way, you break the stranglehold of the ego mind.

The mind has to blend into the heart to surrender to the higher purpose of the Soul.
This is so our attention is not caught in the veils of illusion and the conflicts that the ego brings.
When you say, “My Beloved loves me,” you confuse the ego – and it releases its tight grip as you begin to believe in your heart that these are words of truth.
The truth of these words is so very deep that they are the greatest weapon you can use to find your essential self.
The ego mind can be controlled by the practice of the Name of the Beloved Mantra.
It can stop the ego mind from taking us on its meandering course of chaos.

How often are you caught in patterns or sequences of thought that are unnecessary and uncreative?
How often does the ego-mind capture us with desires that have little to do with our life?

The Mantra “My Beloved loves me” focuses the heart-mind and frees us from captivity of thoughts with dark meanings.
This requires practice, and yet it works right away.
Repeating the Beloved’s name stops the stream of negative thoughts.

The ego belongs to duality; it loves to compare and contrast, and it loves arguments and anger.
Simply turn your mind back and feel the love that is yours to begin with.
You are made in the image of the Universal Mother’s heart and are tremendously powerful as you float in Her love.

It is the ego-mind that catches you in the web of anger; most of the time you don’t even realize that you are angry.
Focus on your Beloved, whoever your Beloved may be, as you go about your outer life.
It is all about the Moment of Love.
Let it flow deeply with inyou.
Then go about your day drenched in this love.
I love you.

The Mother of Intuition

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

Namaste,

There is always a divine guidance inside of you.
It is the Mother of Intuition.
Merely wishing for intuition is not going to work.
You have to trust the wisdom that created you.
Surrender to your own intuition.
Trust in the miracle that you already are.
The Mother speaks through you.

When you have mastered the art of serving others, you begin to master yourself.
Know that inside of you are the Blessings of the Mother.
You only have to bring them to the surface.

Duality is not your friend; the ego brings you hesitation when you begin to know that you are loved by the Mother.
The mystic knows that he or she is the Mother’s wish.
This is the dance of the mystic.

Sometimes you feel tremendous confusion; then suddenly, when you realize that there is no separation between you and the Mother, you begin to understand.
In this way you find your own strength.
Any name of any of Her many forms is a mantra unto itself.
By saying Her name, you begin to go deeper.
This is the Law of the Universe.
Though for each of us it is different, the deep love of the Mother for Her child is always the same.

You know in your heart that there is a consciousness in a different reality other than this world.
And yet there is no separation.
When you begin to know how much you are loved, it is like butterflies in your heart that feels like bliss.
Go into meditation, and all of a sudden it is there -this wholeness that is you.
The outer world is just a reflection of your consciousness.
When you wake up in a happy mood, everything around you looks good.
When you wake up with any negative thoughts you went to sleep with, the world looks dark.

If you can remember that the Mother absorbs all of your negativity, you can begin to feel free.
She knows of your existence.
She also knows we all live in Her net of love.
You can feel Her presence if you look into your stillness.
She is our Beloved, and She has the quality of infinite tenderness.
She is the raging wind to the ego mind and the calm sunset to our peaceful heart.
She is the sweetness of our lives, the intimate Beloved of our hearts.
It is like floating in the sea after a shipwreck, and the Mother is the current that takes you to Her shores and loves you deeply.
I love you with all my heart.

Love,

Intuition and the Beloved

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Namaste,
Question:

“What’s the difference between my intuition and my Beloved?  Is my Beloved my intuition? And if not, do I need to know where my intuition stops and my Beloved begins?”

Answer:

Whatever chakra you are focused on, give your full attention to that which holds your intuition in that moment.
Yet the most juice comes from the center of your skull and drips into your throat and your heart.
When you feel that your intuition is working for you in the moment, be still for awhile and listen to the heart of intuition.
What feels right?
Which way do you turn in the moment?
Do you accept your own intuition in the moment of using it?
Call on the Mother of Intuition, who moves around the different chakras, taking what you need to lead you to the right choice.

Intuition is simply the answer to choice, or choices.
The Mother of Intuition is an atmosphere of pure devotion.
Everything is there in the Mother’s arms.
All the different cells unite, and the answers to so many questions become clear.
The breathtaking moment of listening to your intuition and it is proven to be the right choice brings such confidence.
There is no time in intuition, as it always changes.
The signature of your intuition is not to prove you are right or wrong.
It just is.
Your Beloved takes your ego thoughts and points the way to your own intuitive moment.
The Beloved is not your intuition, although He or She is always part of everything that is in you.

Knowing you are capable to listening to your intuition brings your Beloved so much joy.
Take a chance and listen with your heart.
Let your mind rest.
Discover a new generosity to yourself when you begin to use your intuition.
Intuition is ever abundant; it always was and always will be.
When you find enough silence within you, savor it and trust yourself.
It is very exciting.
It is very freeing
It all comes from the Source, the Beginning, and the Emptiness.
