Counting Breath

Namaste,

Every time I am asked for a meditation, I always say you should get in touch with your inner being.
Focus on your breathing.
Breathe in for 7 seconds, hold the breath for 7 seconds, let out the breath for 7 seconds,  hold out for 7 seconds, and then start again.

If you cannot hold the breath for this length of time, lower the count.
As you hold your breath, say “One holding, two holding,” and so on.
Go into the counting.
Keep the breath flowing in your body by counting this way.

This is conscious breathing, which is a powerful meditation to the Mother – for all breath is the Mother of Prana.
Do this for five times; then see yourself surrounded by a great light.
Immerse yourself into the lights; this will take you into a sea of consciousness.

As you see yourself surrounded by this great light, feel the luminous substance filing your body and making your body glow.
Then do the breathing for another two full breaths.
Sit and enjoy the higher consciousness you have brought to you self.
Do not worry if you cannot complete the whole meditation.

You are always going deeper with the mere intent of it all.
Remember you are successful, even before you are successful.
These are words you can use in your daily life.
